"A Million Mind Guerrillas" * is a wooden construction-repository of collected stones from anywhere (2,00X2,00X060m). The stones of the collection can be perceived either as planets in miniature or even as evidence of previous life, deposited in the earth's crust in fossil strata. The skull of every collector, carpenter, stonemason, geologist, paleontologist or anthropologist will surely be the raw material for future stratifications of the planet. The endoskeleton of vertebrates is tomorrow's mineral wealth.
The work is included in the exhibition of the Benaki Museum entitled "Mr. Robinson Crusoe Stayed Home", curated by Kostis Velonis and Polina Kosmadaki. It belongs to the wider section of works of the project "Lithology_ Every Stone is the Earth" which will be presented in a solo exhibition by Zissis Kotionis, in 2021, at the Art Center of the Municipality of Athens, curated by Christoforos Marinos.
- The title "A Million Mind Guerrillas" is a lyric from the song by John Lennon, "Mind Games", 1973
